touristy question for local folks
5th-Aug-2003 09:31 pm
so, on the short list of requests for his visit, Rat wants to take a ferry somewhere. i've never done so either, so, i'm all for the idea. where around here would make a good destination, with either touristy stuff or somewhere good to take a picnic, or something like that, on the other end, that we could easily access stuff while not having a car on the other end?

Ummm, Bainbridge, I think was the town September and I went to. Very easily navigable without a car. Victoria is another, but a far more expensive ride...

If'n you need a Honda Civic for fun things, I've been known to loan one to friends in search of adventure with licenses and insurance and a keen sense of mutual trust.

Rat is licensed and insured and a good driver. i'll leave you two to negotiations on that. :) *hugs!*

though, really, it's cheaper to not take a car on a ferry, and if Bainbridge is easily navigatable on foot...

comment editted because sometimes i'm just not quite dirty-minded enough. :)
