i've been on a (more or less) noon to 8 work schedule this week. (the more or less being because i took off early monday and tuesday because i had a ten and a half hour day scheduled wednesday.) i'd forgotten how much i adore working these hours. i'm much more awake and aware and happy at work... i get to wake up sans alarm (i set one, anyhow, just in case, but i've been waking up on my own before it), exercise, eat a proper breakfast, do chores if i need to, run errands, play computer games, wake the hell up in a peaceful fashion, and still have time to do stuff in the evening. unless it involves a trip to the eastside, and even then, that can be negotiated, depending on what we're doing and when; i can always leave early one day and make it up the next.

even after volunteer checkins are over, i might flip to a 11 to 7 or so. i don't know. we'll have to see, but it's a lot more pleasent than 9 to 5.
