in quite possibly the most cheerful message i've ever seen from the post office, there was a bright green sticker stuck to a piece of slightly misadressed mail that arrived for me today:

"Hi,

This Address error was detected by your postal service. Please notify the sender of your correct address.

We care."

with a very large smiley face. verily, i am disturbed and amused, but also very happy that the mail got to where it was meant to go.
