Tonight's new recipe: Chinese homestyle chicken and rice
. Really tasty, and much less fiddly than it looks (it was actually dead easy). I skipped the mushrooms in deference to Jeff's allergies, and made a half batch, and we just decimated the pan. So very tasty; we'll be making this again.
Also, does it count as a new recipe if you've had it before but never made it? :) My mom used to make chicken with mushrooms and potatoes
all the time when we were kids, so we recently dug out her cookbooks and I've been making it again. And again. Minus the mushrooms, and suitably de-glutenfied. Omnomnoms. It is so good.
