It's been a good weekend.
Friday after class, I ran a couple of errands - out to the co-op to pick up a couple of things and to increase our equity, in support of the relocation efforts (we're trying to build a bigger store, and before Whole Foods hits town). Next up was the library, where my copy of the next Mercy Thompson book was waiting, squee. I started it last night, and it is lovely, like always, and I am trying not to swallow it whole, but that may be inevitable.
After I got home and after lunch, Jeff and I went on a short afternoon field trip to Homeland Creamery for an ice cream date.
Yesterday afternoon, we ran out to Hand to Hand Market, which was going on downtown. It was a gorgeous day outside, and the arts and crafts were good, and the music was good, and it was just a great day to be out and about. We ran into a bunch of people we know and had a good visit with a friend of ours (who is pregnant. And who invited me to feel her belly when the baby girl was moving around, something I'd never felt before. That was SO COOL.)
In between, I've folded several weeks' worth of laundry (I only wish I was kidding) and we've emptied the car from spring break (ditto) and done a bunch of dishes and done a bunch of work work.
I need to prep for race and ethnicity tomorrow, and I don't wanna... :)
