Hollyhock Dressing (from Hanne Blank
- 1 cup olive oil (I'm also thinking about subbing in some seasame oil next time.)
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/3 cup cider vinegar or balsamic vinegar (I used cider tonight. Very nice. Balsamic for the next batch. I only made a half batch, to make sure I liked it.)
- 1/3 cup tamari or soy sauce (honestly, I think anything salty would work here. Worchestshire sauce is up on the list to try. The possibilities with this are endless.)
- 1 cup nutritional yeast
- optional, all the garlic you can stand, roasted or raw; I used 3 cloves raw, but I like garlic
Dump into a blender, blend until it's smooth and creamy. Eat on everything. Try to refrain from eating it with a spoon.
This is automatically dairy free, and gluten free if you use tamari or a gf Worchestshire sauce.
