today was a good day

I slept in this morning, and it was good.

I got some grading done. I avoided the pile of stats homework, but I worked on their SPSS projects.

We changed my oil. Janeway is much happier.

I took mom out to lunch for her birthday, and verily, she wanted to try somewhere new, and verily, it was good. I had sushi. It'd been awhile, and I was jonesing. Prices were great (sushi lunch special - 2 big rolls and salad, $7.50), food was tasty, service was good (my water glass never ran dry). A++, will go back again.

Class was good tonight. We're hitting material that I'm really good at.

We discovered that one of my students volunteered on the teen version of the crisis line at the crisis center that I worked for in Seattle, and that we were there at the same time. What are the odds of that?

Now, I really should go to bed. I'm tired. But I'm also reveling in the fact that I don't have to be at work at 8am tomorrow, and in fact, don't have to get in my car tomorrow unless I want to. Dude. :)

I thought you were the stats teacher.

Assuming ten volunteers: about 350M/10 or 1:35M?
