We are still under several inches of snow. The sun did a great job of melting yesterday, but well, there were several inches to melt, so it's going to be days before it's gone. I was really surprised - we actually got plowed out on Saturday, the day most of this was falling, and the sun did the rest yesterday, so our road is pretty good. However, much of the area is still under a lot of snow, and not plowed, and the university I teach at gets students from several surrounding counties, so they're doing a noon opening (taking care of my 9:00 and 10:00 classes), and the community college I teach at is all commuting and get students from several surrounding counties, so they just called the day off completely (taking care of my 1:00 class). I ought to be grateful for the day off (and verily, I am glad I don't have to go out there), but I'm also annoyed that we'll just have to make up the day at the CC later.

I was completely non-productive this weekend, so I'm going to try to take advantage of today and Get Stuff Done. After I've had some coffee.

(We're scheduled for more weather tomorrow. Ugh. I hate winter.)
