Friday night, Ginger and I watched The Incredible Hulk (my first viewing of it, yes, I'm behind on my movie watching.) I liked it. Ed Norton made a good Hulk. I liked that he wasn't some kind of uber-badass; he was just a normal guy, and a mostly smart one, trapped in a crappy situation. My only real complaint was that Liv Tyler's character couldn't do much more than be useless or scream beseechingly at the men around her. And there was good set-up for a sequel, so I'm looking forward to that.
Yesterday, I got a box in the mail. It was my Christmas box - full of homebaked goodies - and our housewarming present from
Yesterday featured a farmer's market trip in the morning (to a very dead market, we'd forgotten that lots of vendors take the first weekend in the year off), and got most of what we needed; we'll make up the rest from the co-op. Jeff and I ran into town in the afternoon - Home Depot, Northern Tool - and when we got home, we tried to work on the clothesline, but temperatures in the low 30s and 15 mph winds drove us back inside. We weatherstripped the back door, and hung a wool blanket over it, and that seems to be helping with the drafts a bit (it's an older, drafty house, and heating it has been proving entertaining.) We got some hooks hung for pots underneath one of the shelves in the kitchen. I made tacos for dinner and Jeff watched Twig and I watched some Supernatural with Ginger.
My sinuses are hating this weather.
