[Cryptic thing] is lacking one piece of paperwork before it can go to [Cryptic Decision Makers]. That piece of paperwork was supposed to be in a packet sent to me a couple of weeks ago, but it wasn't (in fact, someone else's was!) so they're sending me a new one that should be here by tomorrow, which means that if I can fax it off tomorrow or Thursday morning, [Cryptic Decision Makers] should have all of their paperwork that day.

I am not confident that we'll hit our original deadline, but it might be mighty close (if [Cryptic Decision Makers] say yes; I have no idea how long that normally takes.)

I swear, this is one of the most stressful things I've ever dealt with.
