Sat | tacos! | tacos! Thought we had ground beef, didn't have ground beef. Cooked up some stew beef. Very very tasty. |
Sun | http://simplyrecipes.com/recipes/albondigas_soup/ - Albondigas Soup, & we'll try the crescent rolls this week | Oh, my word, really good. Didn't get to making the rolls, though; did quesadillas instead. |
Mon | toad in the hole (http://www.eatingoutloud.com/2009/09/an-adult-toad-in-the-hole.html) | Okay, not great. Ended up going with simpler recipe at the last minute, and it was pretty bland. This also needs sausage that has fat in it. |
Tues | Beef & broccoli & bok choy & egg noodles | ended up at Red Robin because we were out late on an errand |
Wed | grilled steak salad (http://yesthatjill.livejournal.com/1878043.html) - going to have to turn down the heat, but that's fine – I can mix sweet Thai chilli sauce into my portion [I really mean it this week, darn it] | Jeff's mom cooked because I had a meeting late; she made beef & noodles. Extremely tasty. |
Thurs | Val cooking if she feels like it; chickpea patties from the freezer & mashed potatoes if she doesn't | Jeff's mom did roast in the crockpot because we were all going to be out late. Very tasty. |
Fri | Jeff and his mom can fend for themselves, as I'll be away. | I had a grand time; they did chili cheese dogs. |

I did Not Prime Time this year, which made me actually write something for the first time since Yuletide. It was fun! It was also a lot more low key…
