So, confession: Salt is not doing anything for me. Maybe it gets better, and I'll nibble at it for awhile longer off and on, but for the moment, it's just not grabbing me. Maybe I've gotten spoiled by Mary Roach, who is more focused and better cited.

So, next up: Pride and Prejudice. :)
