(no subject)

One thing about moving is that my commute has grown. We knew this was a consequence of moving out to where we did (and being 3 miles from my parents and waking up with cows across the road more than makes up for it). Mondays and Wednesdays, it's out to the university, then the community college, and then home (43.6 miles, all told). Tuesdays, it's just out to the community college (41.5 miles, round trip). Thursdays, it's out to the community college twice (83 miles in a day, something I really just try not to think about; at least it's mostly highway with only one annoying merge), and Fridays, it's out to the university (28.6 miles round trip). So, 240.3 miles in the week, if I don't do anything but go out to work and back.

I've been spending a lot of time in my car.

So I've been listening to podcasts lately. I love music, but one can only listen to the same mp3s and songs so many times. Podcasts are free; free new music is a lot less easily obtained.
