Why I cook1: because we're eating homemade chicken salad wraps for dinner (homemade tortillas, locally raised chicken, organic lettuce and cashews and cranberries and carrots) for way, way cheaper than we would pay if we were out.

1. Well, one of the whys. Paramount is the fact that I really like cooking.2

2. However, just because I like cooking doesn't mean it's not nice to have someone else around doing some of it. Jeff's mom cooked chicken and noodles the other night, and it was way good, and last night she did steak and potatoes, and man, her steak was 8000 times better than mine ever is.
