Last night's new food experiment was spelt pasta, which jumped off the shelves at us at the co-op this week, being fairly cheap and something different to try. It had a mild flavor (we were expecting something with a heavy wheat taste) and, even better, didn't leave us with that sluggish "ugh, I just ate a bowl of pasta" feeling. We'll be having it again.
