So, prompted by cheesepuppet over on Facebook, I went and checked out Library Thing, and verily, I like it better than Good Reads and am jumping ship. Is anyone else afloat on the great ship Library Thing?

*Waves* Yo. Shockingly enough, I'm juliansinger. I haven't updated in awhile, but I was going great guns with organizing, for awhile.

I am, though my reading list is woefully out-of-date! I probably need to add 50 books or so. ;_; But you can find me as ovistine. :)

Yes, I've been on there since it was in beta. Thought I'd already pimped it to everyone...

I started out with Library Thing and then found Good Reads and then read about someone who kept up both by importing from one to the other but then...

I discovered that the importing/exporting excluded review information and was generally a pain in the ass. I swapped some email with the founder of Library Thing and then, in the end, decided Good Reads was good enough.

You have reviews? How are you going to get them into Library Thing from Good Reads? I'm not in love with Good Reads but I don't hate it enough to go shopping... yet.

I've been lazy about reviews, so what little I did post, I can just cut and paste into comments. :) LT seems like a more powerful site, and makes recommendations (as if I need more books to read) on each book page, which is what really got me. :) I found importing easy - I just fed it my Good Reads RSS feed - but that was sans reviews.
