I have two rough drafts to complete and another paper to finalize this weekend. I'm seven pages into the first rough draft, and my motivation has leaked out of my ears. Ugh. I just took a nice long break, too, so another break right now isn't the answer.

I think I'll try to get some more work then, then take a nice long bath with a book. Or a nap. I'lll be very happy when December 8th at 5pm gets here, even if the day itself is going to suck. A lot.

So I'm skimming through this book because term paper three is for my social change class, and I'm comparing marriage in the 60s and marriage now. One quote from a guy who complains that he wishes he hadn't lived with his girlfriend beforehand says "I think it was a bad idea. It took a lot of the mystery out of everything." That's part of the point, you moron. Otherwise you get might get married, move in together, discover you hate how she labels the leftovers and she hates how you fold your socks, you start fighting, and it goes downhill from there. I mean, living together isn't the magic pill for a good marriage - there is not such thing - but "it takes the mystery out of everything"? I always throught that was a lot of the point.
