Dinner was chicken-fried steak, mashed potatoes, gravy, and corn on the cob. The steak was decent, not great - the coating didn't stick too well. The recipe I used called for coating the steak with flour, then egg, then flour again. I think that skipping the initial flouring might be the way to go. My mashed potatoes were better than normal, though - I finally remembered to take rhiannonstone's advice to warm the milk before I added it, and it made a world of difference.
We're so full now. Oh, my word. It was tasty, though. And there's leftovers. :)
