I have somehow managed to seriously piss off my left knee. Like, swollen limping not bending kind of pissed off. This is rather inconvienent for someone who travels by her feet.
The thing is, I didn't do anything yesterday. I walked to school, did a little gym thing (a couple of laps around the track and a little time on the rowing machine, but I was squeezing in between jobs, so it wasn't long) and Tonya picked me up on campus. Gnar.
"... and caffiene-free diet doctor pepper. Okay, that's it."
" ... "
*giggles* "The look is, what's the point?"
"She likes the taste, but isn't really supposed to have the caffiene because of her blood pressure. Yes, at 25."
"What about, oh, I don't know, orange juice?"
"That's bad for her ulcer."
State has moved to e-billing for tuition and such, and it's actually really slick. The bad news is, my tuition surcharge is included, which it wasn't a couple days ago. However, the surcharge is just on tuition, not tuition and fees, so I'm getting a little more money in my first financial aid distribution than I thought, which is GOOD. And best of all, apparently billing and financial aid are talking to each other, so I don't have to go stand in line with paper proof of my financial aid so that they don't drop my classes; instead, my amount to pay is listed at zero. Nice.
On another note, my sisters, they are nuts. :)
Also, we've coined a new word: dwerb, from dweeb and jerk. :)
What a good day.
Lunch with Jessie and Daniel was very nice. I hadn't seen them in ages, so we talked houses and school and jobs, and it was fun. We went to Two Guys, where I forewent normal Two Guys food and got a really nice salad with tomatoes and blue cheese and spinach and shrimp. "Work" at the computer lab went quickly enough. We ran to Food Lion to grab a couple of things for dinner, and came home and did a little straightening up. Hope and Faith showed up (sneaking into the house, since we'd left the front door, scaring us half silly). We got in the pool for awhile, made tacos and fruit salad for diiner, and played Scrabble and Settlers. Now everyone's settled down to reading and sleeping. It's been a really good day.
