roads, in joyce's world, are two way.
time for shower/clothes/bus now.
heh. so, yesterday on the way home with Ginger, i came down with a gawdawful headache and started feeling like i normally do when i need food right then, which is well, crap. i was kinda dumb and ignored it, figuring that i'd be ok. i got a diet coke, hoping the caffiene would help (dear self: next time, get regular coke. the sugar will prolly do more good.) and we went on our merry way.
i was in pain by the time we got home. i inhaled some leftovers, thinking food would fix it (c2 rawks) and took a shower. i oozed downstairs, realized i was oozing, and decided to go curl up for a bit to see if i'd feel better. Ari called, i talked to him briefly, and then the next thing i knew it was 1 am.
guess i really needed the sleep. :)
so nothing got done last night that i wanted to. no room cleaning, no crafting, no looking at *cough* someone's resume. but that's ok, because i'm at least well rested this morning...
this morning thus far i've sold $200 worth of where to turn, gotten some updates done, eaten leftovers for breakfast, sent out an update form, sent out a new service form, sent out an order form, and written a long assed email or two. i'd say i'm doing pretty well.
every day, i pull out the books, start stuffing them into envelopes, and only then remember that it's helpful to print shipping labels if one is to actually mail anything. :)
it feels like it might rain out there.
point 1: you are not an unique and special snowflake. if you live in this state, you know damned well what sales tax is. if you're a tax exempt organization, you know damned well what a tax id number is. please, please, don't think you're special and that you can just magically not pay tax. yes, if you're not tax exempt, we'll forgive the seventy-nine cents and mail you your books anyhow. however, if you are tax exempt, we need that number, so that we don't have to pay it. the pennies do add up. either way, i still have to call your sorry ass. a pox on you. :)
point 2: i am mailing an order to the Lutheran church across from my house. i would just hand carry it, but i don't feel like trying to figure out how to issue a refund check for the 1.09 they paid for shipping and the tax on the shipping. i am still amused. :)
point 3: everyone here is either on vacation or wishing they were. i'm glad i'm not the only one. :)
hi. i'm joyce, and i'm tipsy under my clothing.
