I have been experimenting with a little bit of jogging lately, interspersed with the walking. (I have been walking lately, instead of swimming, because that's what I've been in the mood for, and since the main goal is to continue moving my ass in some fashion resembling exercise on a regular basis, I've been going with whatever I feel like doing.) So far, there has been no knee or ankle pain, which has usually been the problem with jogging. Today was 2 miles around the indoor track at the Y, with several laps of running in the middle alternated with walking and sandwiched between walking on each end.
At any rate, my knees and ankles may not hurt, but my thighs are definitely letting me know that they did work today. Oy.
