I am legendary for my inability to write to page limits. I've gotten to the point that my writing is generally good enough (if verbose) that with one notable exception, no one has cared, and I've been free to tromp over page limits at will. (This has done my writing no favors, as I've never had a reason to learn to tighten it up.)
The class I'm taking now, though? I can't get to the lower page limit or word count, much less the upper. Yarg.
I turned in a 40 page research methods final last spring, some of which was tables, but not half. :) And I wrote it in two weeks (had to do the stats section one week, correct it then write the rest the next week. We'd done part of the lit review already). Hell, my proposal was 42 pages, with appendices. And now I can't write a 700 word book review (I'm at 604). :p
