So tired. My brain would not shut up last night and let me settle down to good sleep. I got through 101 coherently this morning, but once we got back to our building, mccrashy went my brain. And my focus. Caffeine is not helping. Alas, I have a student for office hours and she should be back in a minute, and an unholy pile of grading, so coherency must be found.
I have a suggestion that works for me: cold rag on the back of your neck to wake up your brain, and cruncy carrots. Carrots are noisy in my head and always rattle my brain awake. Other crunchy foods don't seem to work as well as carrots for some reason. Maybe it's a combination of the noise and the vitamins.
