What's in self-rising flour? It seems like the sort of thing I would expect you to make a big batch of for yourself, is why I ask :)

This also makes me wonder if, say, Bisquick could be home-made and stored in the dry goods part of the pantry. Hmm!

Baking soda and salt, basically. It's not the kind of thing I would normally bother with - I just add both to whatever recipe - but Jeff grabbed some the last time he got flour, and I have to admit, it's handy, and I would never have thought about adding baking soda to my tortillas. :)
