Today: eggs and country ham for breakfast, more West Wing (we did the first episode of season seven last night, and the second today, and let me tell you, I flapped my arms and squealed like a girl at the first little bit of the first episode, the bit set at the library opening? Some of my favorite fictional people, being happy. Jeff finally looked at me and said "You are such a girl sometimes," and verily, he's right.) [Side note, I am largely unspoiled for this season, save about Leo (which is just breaking my heart, every time I see him on screen), about who wins, and about who is the leak. Which I suppose are the major things about this season, but if anything else breaks during this season, keep it to yourself, please? :) ] I love these people more than I should love any set of fictional people, and I'm so, so glad that it looks like this last season is going to be good stuffs. I did some reading, finally starting Memory in Death, which isn't overly angsty once I got past the first 20 pages, which I didn't manage the last time I tried to read it (of course, I'm only on page 52, so she has plenty of room to get way angsty again, but I hope she doesn't. zhaneel reports that if one can get through Memory, that Born in Death is worth it, so I will persevere.) We eventually wandered over to my parents and hung out with them and my uncle for a bit, then adjurned to Hope's house for dinner and Scrabble and Apples to Apples with my cousins Michael and Andrew. Michael cleaned our clocks, despite having not seen most of us in four years; apparently, a pysch degree prepares you for winning at Apples to Apples. :) My uncle came over to Hope's after awhile, and we sat around and BSed for awhile, and then I ran out of steam. So now we're home, and it's about time for me to go fall over. Goodnight, moon. :)

I did Not Prime Time this year, which made me actually write something for the first time since Yuletide. It was fun! It was also a lot more low key…
