I have a minor request from the brain trust: one of the folks I work for (and that I'm working for again next semester) prefers that I grade in green colored pencil. It's erasable - always a plus for a novice grader - and the color stands out (which doesn't happen when you grade in normal pencil, which I had to do one weekend when my green colored pencils decided to spend a holiday in my office). However, colored pencil lead is very soft, and no matter how much you sharpen them, they dull quickly, making it hard to write legibily (and thus lessening the odds that my comments will get read. Since this is slim in the first place, I'd rather do what I can to make sure they do get read.) Is there such a thing as colored pecils with leads as hard as normal pencils? Where do I find such creatures, art supply stores?

I did Not Prime Time this year, which made me actually write something for the first time since Yuletide. It was fun! It was also a lot more low key…
