passive agressiveness at work

However, I'm reminded of why I don't normally try to work at school (at least, not in the building my department is in.) The walls are paper thin (even though they're thick concrete block) and the people conversing in the hallway might as well be standing in my office. However, warning off everyone that stands out there and holds a meeting in the hallway would mean being out there all day. I might ping my officemates and see what they think of putting a sign up on the door asking people to shut the hell up, but in the meantime, I crank up the offensive music and hope that some of it is audible out there. At least it covers up their conversations (mostly).
