Oh, and the great swimsuit hunt is over, thanks to, of all places, Newport News, who has their products listed on Amazon, and so I went and looked at them, which I would never have thought about doing on my own. For $23, including shipping, I got an attractive swimsuit that fits me just fine. (warsop, we tried the Costco equivalent that we have a membership to, but all they had out was stupid skimpy bikinis. Nice idea, though.) The straps are skinnier than I would have generally gone for, and after this morning's test swim (one hour, felt so good), I think I'm going to have to wear a sports bra underneath of it, but that's nothing new. I'm pleased.

I know you get what you pay for, and this swimsuit will eventually fall apart, but the hope is that I won't fit into it anymore, before that happens. We'll see.
