I emailed my professor in my violence & terrorism class to ask if I could use footnotes in our term paper, and got back an answer about three minutes later. I'm impressed. However, she'd rather we used paranthetical cites. Silly social scientists. :) It's funny, I freaked out last year the first time I had to use footnotes, and now I love them. They're easier than paranthetical citations, look better, and allow me to ramble at will. :)

I'm feeling pretty good about my mid-terms on Tuesday. I'll flip through the notecards some more tonight, and read through my notes tomorrow at work, and I should be set.

Jeff and I got out for a good long walk today, up to Whole Foods and back to fetch a couple of things (like dishwasher soap) that we were out of. It was nice to get out for awhile - it's been such a pretty day. We've got the windows open, and the fresh air feels good.

I'm doing my term paper for the violence and terrorism class on same-sex intimate partner violence. It's incredibly depressing stuff, even in a class full of depressing stuff. For my term paper in my social theory class, I'm going to see if I can figure out what WEB DeBois would have had to say about religious violence and terrorism. I'm not quite sure what this says about me, if anything.

I've got a lot of term papers this semester. I can't say I'm complaining. :)

It's not been a bad weekend. Quiet, but not bad. Fall break is coming up this week. I don't have PE class all week, and I've got Thursday completely off (and get to see tyche, yay!), and then I work 10 hours on Friday at the gym.

I did Not Prime Time this year, which made me actually write something for the first time since Yuletide. It was fun! It was also a lot more low key…
