I made a bag. it's... not bad. It'll do the job. A couple of things to note for future efforts:

1. The straps go on the sides, not in the middle. If I'd been looking at the pictures when putting the strap in place, this would have registered.
2. If you're going to use two lining materials, the one you don't want on the outside goes in the inside. Whoops. Instead of nice black lining, I have yellow and brown stripes. It's not as bad as it might sound.
