today was a lovely brunch at Tonya and George's with them and Amber, then dinner and Settlers at my parents with one of my sisters and the parents. it seemed to go well and they seemed to like him, and he liked them, and all together, i am much relieved. the ride up to Whitsett and back was nice - we talked about music and books and tractor beams and driving and family and holidays and stuff.

there is a milkshake event we're not at. =/ but i'm going into work at the asscrack of dawn tomorrow, and we're just about oversocialized for the night. sorry, guys!
