i came home craving a chick patty, mashed potatoes, and figs. the figs had spent too long on the bottom shelf of my fridge, and i was out of potatoes. i ended up with a chik patty, tomatoes&olive oil&garlic, and couscous & cheese. it wasn't precisely what i was craving, but it was still tasty. and i made enough couscous for a couple lunches.

dessert is part of the leftover apple pie. and wine. you can, in fact, heat pie in a skillet, though on reflection the toaster oven would have been a better choice. it wants ice cream, but not badly enough for me to walk to the Food Lion at this hour.
