so does anyone remember S.E. Hinton? she wrote
The Outsiders. well, she's got a new book out, after umpteen years (the dust jacket says 15), called
Hawkes Harbor. (warning, the reviews at the bottom of the page are spoilerish.) i finished it tonight. it was... odd. it's not a YA novel. it flips back and forth between horror and character study. i liked it, but in the end, i'm not quite sure what it was trying to say.
so, yea. someone else want to read it and tell me what they think? :) it's a quick read, for what it's worth.
and now i'm back to trying to figure out what's next... i'm trying to read
The Bourne Identity, but it's suprisingly novelish and slow, for what i thought it was going to be.
