today was the cleaning spree in the morning. i took off and walked over to the Record Exchange to drop off a movie, then to the library to pick up my holds, then to ambermae's. we sat around for a bit, and eventually went to go meet up with gorski for lunch. however, it would seem that Bali Hai is not open for lunch on Saturdays. which was a pity, since the point of that particular destination was that Amber'd never been there. we ended up at El Rodeo, which was still tasty, just not what we'd wanted. we tromped around for just a bit, then we sent Chris back off to work. Amber dropped me off at home. on the way, artisanal_xara called, as had been the plan. they ended up coming over and we all went walking around Lake Johnson for awhile, then we went back to their house and grilled chicken burgers and drank a little and watched Alton and played Settlers, and George gave me a ride home.

my walking total today is at three hours. yesterday it was an hour and a half. most of my body is appreciative. my left knee is not. if it doesn't shush, i'm not going much of anywhere tomorrow.

now i'm home and talking to my love. i'm feeling a little crunchy from not putting on enough sunscreen today, but otherwise, life is just fine.
