this evening, my sister arrived safely. she took me to wal-mart, where i procured a real live squishy feather pillow (woot) and a small reading lamp (double woot). we got home, talked about dinner with Tonya and George, and decided on pizza. eggplant pizza, no less. it was yummy. =) we did some Spades, and then my friend E. came over - old, old friend from NCSSM who'd pinged me this week about wanting to get together since i was back in the state. there was some chatting and catching up and more spades, and it was very nice to see her.

we're moving tomorrow. no 'net at home until Tuesday morning, so i'm going to be even more neglectful than normal.



dear self, tomorrow morning:

- write down directions to Jeni's
- write down list of stuff to get from Jeni's
- keep checkbook accessible
- ditto on your drugs



time for this little snowflake to crash; it's going to be a long weekend.
